ARTIST NAME writes and records alone, usually late at night, building songs from a single guitar take or a loop that wouldn't leave them alone. The project started as a way to finish ideas without waiting on anyone else, and it's stayed that way — one room, one microphone, one version of the truth per song.

Two EPs and a handful of singles later, the sound has settled into something between bedroom folk and hazy electronic pop: brushed drums, tape hiss, vocals recorded close enough to hear the breath between lines. A debut full-length is finished and due out later this year.

When not recording, ARTIST NAME plays small rooms wherever they'll have them, believing the best shows are the ones where you can hear the room breathing along.
